Bilingual audio books English/Chinese and English/Hindi

Bilingual audio books benefits : provide a bridge to important topics of discussion for parents and children : Going into new situations can be intimidating, particularly when you don’t understand what’s being said around you. Knowing more than one language can give your child a boost of confidence. Whether you travel or not, it will give them a better understanding of the world around them. And there’s always the added benefit that those who are bilingual will have an easier time picking up a third language.

First, while looking at what’s out there, consider all types of books. Don’t limit yourself to just one “scholarly” source or even a language learning text. With bilingual e-books, all reading genres are represented. Choose something that piques your interest. There’s no shame in starting “small”-what I mean is, keep it basic to begin with. You don’t need to grab “War and Peace” for your first e-book-or even your twenty-first. Children’s books or comic books are solid reading materials and both are available for bilingual e-reading.

The street epistemology teaches us how to do so. It consists partly in pushing the interlocutor to ask himself questions. The questions we ask ourselves do not meet the defensive stubbornness that questions asked by a third party meet. This audio guide is bilingual: that is, it presents itself as a language learning tool. The title indicates that it is a parody of the practical guides. A “serious” guide would not be concerned about helping the guru to build his enterprise. Because this bilingual audio book is often fun, offering it to a member-of-a-cult friend, or relative, is not perceived as a threat, or as a criticism of his choices.

Learn New Vocabulary. Some people raise objections that audiobooks are destroying the time-honored literature. Nevertheless, their objections are useless. Audiobooks contain all flavors of printed books. It is not futile to say that audiobooks have some additional benefits. Students listen and learn new vocabulary. Audiobooks are very productive for students who want to become an essay writer. Read extra details at Bilingual audio books English/Chinese.

Many audiobooks are read by the author or include commentary by the author. A recording of The Fighing Ground by Avi, for example, includes an author interview in which he explains how he came up with the idea for the book. Joey Pigza Swallowed the Key is read by author Jack Gantos and also includes commentary about why he wrote the book. This information can provide students with a connection to the author as well as insight into the author’s thoughts and the writing process.

Develops grade-level appropriate content knowledge. Giving students access to grade-level materials by providing an audiobook accommodation improves their self-esteem and increases their participation in class and peer discussions. They are now able to work alongside their peers and get hours of time back. Just because a student can’t read the words in the same way as their peers, doesn’t mean they aren’t developmentally ready to learn this information. Listening to audiobooks brings the information to the student when they are ready for it, not when they can read it.

The children listened…. and their parents too. Listening was not felt as a chore but as a delight. So, we decided to prepare bilingual audiobooks from “classical” works. Then, we thought we should publish contemporary short works in at least 2 languages (by the way, if you are the happy author of a work up to 25.000 words, prepare to submit it.) We propose mostly human voices, because to listen to synthetic voices feels… synthetic. But, whatever their accent, the synthetic voices offer a faultless pronunciation, which is important for the student. So, we prepare some sound files with synthetic voices.
