Comprehensive list of reasons to visit Turkey 2025

Travel to Turkey – a complete list of motives: Picturesque Antalya – Highlights: Stroll the twisty lanes of the old town, sloth on the beach, or launch yourself out on history-filled trips amid the hilltop ruins of the hinterland. This bustling Mediterranean hub has something for everyone. The two main beaches outside of town are sun-sloth heaven in summer and attract holidaymakers from across Europe. While the old town area, snug right in the center of town, with its cobblestone alleyways rimmed by creaky Ottoman-era mansions, is a wonderful place to explore. The Antalya Museum is renowned as one of the country’s best, with an astonishing collection of Hellenistic and Roman marble statuary, and there are bags of attractions outside of town for travelers who want to use Antalya as a base. In particular, Antalya is an easy base for day trips to some of Turkey’s most famous Greco-Roman ruins, including Aspendos and Perge, which are just outside the city, and the town of Side, with its glut of ruins. See the World – The opportunity to travel the world is a fascinating reason to consider a study abroad programme. For many international students one of the main reason to study abroad will be leaving their home country for the first time. Universities typically help these students as they widen their personal understanding of the world and learn how to live independently in a new country. One of the main benefits of studying abroad is to see more of the world in a unique way. In addition to earning a degree, this is a hugely rewarding experience. More exposure to the world will shape your character and worldview, preparing you for a more globalised society. For example, if you study in the UK, you can easily travel to other fascinating countries like Paris, Rome, and many more. If you study in France, you have the option of travelling through different parts of Europe, including London, Barcelona, and Rome. If you study in New Zealand, you can go hiking on the weekends or when you’re in Australia for college, visit the beaches and go snorkelling. Here are some tips for preparing to study abroad.

Work Abroad – Why it’s important: Programs that allow you to work overseas are a terrific opportunity to earn more than money. The benefits are nearly endless: a challenging new environment, increased freedom, new friendships (and business connections), the addition of a new language to your toolkit, and the chance to advance your professional aspirations. Your employment overseas won’t even seem like work; rather, it’ll feel more like one wild—and paid!—adventure because you’ll be having so much fun overcoming new obstacles and enjoying new experiences. So in conclusion—why is travel important? Traveling abroad is not only an exciting and enriching experience, but it also has many benefits for personal growth and development. From enhancing creativity and problem-solving skills to increasing knowledge and networking opportunities to giving you inspiration for future goals, the reasons why traveling is important are numerous. Travel is an experience that all who have the opportunity to do so should embrace. Now that you know the importance of traveling, you’re ready for an experience you will never forget.

Our focus on Istanbul, rather than Turkey as a whole, is driven by the intent to discuss the best types of real estate investment opportunities and the expeditious achievement of substantial returns. While other Turkish cities are suitable for housing or summer getaways and offer some investment prospects, Istanbul stands out due to the substantial difference in rental demand and potential for resale. Geographically, Istanbul is the only city in the world that spans two continents – Europe and Asia – separated by the Bosphorus Strait, a critical waterway in the Black Sea region. The Bosphorus links the Black Sea and the Sea of Marmara, and through the Dardanelles Strait, the Sea of Marmara connects to the Aegean Sea, making it a pivotal water route in the entire region.

Traveling doesn’t have to be expensive. Gone are the days when traveling abroad was just a pastime designed for the rich. Nowadays the market is awash with really convenient plane/bus/train tickets and travel packages. What’s more, there are couch-surfing and hitch-hiking, countless opportunities that combine travel and work/studying, and various funded programs. These opportunities only need you to grab them.Just don’t be lazy when it comes to research and paperwork. You learn without even trying. Have you noticed how hard it is to memorize some dry facts from a book about a certain place/museum/famous building, and how easy it is for the same facts to get stuck to your memory when you learn them on the spot? It is easier to learn when you can make connections to your own experience and that is what traveling does. Read additional details at Turkey Visa from India.

Turkey travel is one of the top reasons to invest in Turkey. With the majority of tourist attractions located on the European side, most first-time travelers to Istanbul don’t venture into the Asian side of the city. Had it not been for Ciya Sofrasi and Walter’s Coffee Roastery, then we wouldn’t have gone there either. Home to a maze of cafes, bars, restaurants, and some trendy neighborhoods, the Asian side has much to offer and is well worth a day if you can spare it. We traveled around Turkey for two weeks so we went to these places on our own, but if you don’t have as much time, then you can visit them on day trips from Istanbul as well. Domestic flights are inexpensive and efficient in Turkey, making these day trips to other regions highly possible.
