Wildlife art by VLG Studios

Let’s talk about the best places where a wildlife artist can get the maximum inspiration. The Amazon Basin, Brazil: There is no doubt in that the wildlife photography lovers have been long planning to explore the amazons and its vivid wildlife. This region has been known to as the Amazonian or the Amazon Jungle. This jungle is home to 427 mammals which include jaguar, sloth, and river dolphin, 1300 birds which include macaw and 378 reptiles including anaconda and Jesus lizard. Here you can find some of the rarest of species which make its all suitable for that perfect clicks. Another interesting wildlife found here are the turtles where they will seek refuge on a further inland etc. So, don’t miss your chance to visit this amazing amazon.

Finland: Wolverines have an almost mythical reputation, so rare is it to see them in the wild. But we have a tour operator with a secret, one that takes you to a remote woodland cabin where baiting, an admittedly controversial practise, has led to daily visits from wolverines and a very good chance of seeing them from nearby hides. Camera traps, thermal imaging and night vision may all be employed but much of the time you’ll be either in a hide or a vehicle, with little walking involved.

Do you know someone who loves animals and artwork, but not sure what they would want? Why not give them the gift of choosing! VLG Studios gift vouchers can be used on any products in the shop, and also for ordering commission work. So they are perfect if you know someone who would love a gift item, a pet portrait, or a unique piece of bespoke wildlife art, when you are not sure what they would want. Find even more info on Wildlife Pet Portraits.

I believe transparency is super important with my customers, and so I will soon be setting up a new page on my website illustrating the causes that we will be supporting including the total amount of donations that have been made through product purchases by customers! Between now and the 10th of January, all profits from sales made on my website will be donated to the emergency fund at WIRES (NSW Wildlife Information, Rescue and Education Service Inc.) which is being used to help rescue sick, injured, or orphaned wildlife affected by the ongoing bushfires.
